Race Rules
Violations of rules may result in disqualification, banned from future races, or other consequences as determined by the RDs.
- No unofficial runners.
- Each runner’s official run number must be worn prominently on the front of the body and must be easily visible at all times.
- Runners must follow the marked trail.
- No transferring registration to another runner without permission from RD’s.
- Runners may not store supplies of any kind along the trail (the trail is so remote we are not sure you could get them there anyway, but it sounds like a good rule).
- Runners are responsible for the actions of their crews. Everyone associated with the Run must comply with all Run rules.
- Family/Friends/Crew may only be on the course at the start, Lemhi Pass AS, and the finish.
- Each runner must be checked in and checked out of all checkpoints.
- Littering of any kind is prohibited. Adequate trash bags will be provided on the course.
- Runners must refrain from any act of bad sportsmanship.
- Smoking is not permitted at any of the aid stations, on the trail, along the trail, or at the finish line area.
- Any runner who is unable to finish the Run must personally inform the aid station captain of the nearest checkpoint of his decision to withdraw. Costs incurred searching for runners who leave the race without informing the aid station captain will be billed to the runner.
- Dogs will not be allowed on the course.
- If a runner leaves the course, they must return to the point they left the course on foot to resume the run.
